🏁 Starting My Internship at IPT

In 2009, I started my technical internship at the Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas do Estado de São Paulo (IPT) — the Institute for Technological Research of the State of São Paulo.

I entered the program through a selective process at Escola SENAI “Anchieta”, which included both theoretical and practical tests. I was excited (and a bit nervous), since IPT is one of the most respected research institutions in Brazil.

The internship will take place at the Laboratório de Metrologia Mecânica, part of the Centro de Metrologia Mecânica e Elétrica (CME). I didn’t know exactly what to expect at first, but I knew I’d be working in a lab focused on precision measurements — force, mass, pressure — and that it would be serious, technical work.
