💡 Attended ESC Brazil 2013

I attended the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) Brazil, held at the Transamérica Expo Center in São Paulo. It was my first time at a large-scale event focused entirely on embedded systems, and I was eager to explore the booths, see the demos, and understand more about where this technology was heading.

The exhibition halls were filled with names I had mostly only read about online: Renesas, IAR Systems, Fujitsu, and many others. There were demo stations running live development environments, microcontroller boards with real-time displays, and even application-specific setups using industrial protocols and graphical UIs.
